This cabin was inside old house we were about to demolish on Sandy Flats Road in Floyd County Virginia.This is the 3rd cabin we have save for the future and its historical nature. The logs were each marked as to the location and photos taken so it can be rebuilt in its original shape. This log home is actually two cabins connected by a breezeway. The home is 1840 or newer however it is a very interesting design. We have the logs stored inside so no hurry to put it back up. We are in the Appalachian Music community of Floyd Virginia - I am also making a small museum display of some of my computers available to the public in the Village Green. We are on the "Blue Ridge Parkway" & " The Crooked Road - Virginia's Heritage Music Trail" . A lot of good things here - drop in and see us sometime.
