Too narrow to be of any use and too long to be ignored, this Bangalore balcony was perfect candidate for an inward looking japanese-inspired garden. A traditional water fountain gurgles away into a terra-cota urn, while the buddha smiles serenely out from amidst the foliage as if to say: Relax, youre home!

  • Very nicely done. I wondered how something can be done to that small balcony. Few doubts - how does your balcony look from outside with that raised bamboo wall? Are the bamboos painted with any kind of warnish to sustain rain and sun?

  • Wow, a fantastic transformation!
