  • also don't think you get this just by watching a video on it, the mathematics is staggering

  • @GeetarAdam That's exactly what I was thinking. I was going to say "figure it all out" but then I changed my comment. There are many things that our brain can't even comprehend. Maybe through many more years of evolution though.

  • @ambi3nttech That's quite possible. Conversely, it's possible that there's truth in the popular quote that "the universe is not only stranger than we imagine. It's stranger than we CAN imagine". I doubt very much that we'll ever figure "it all" out. There will always be philosophical questions left to ponder. I don't care much for religion and all its baggage, and I suppose it was a poor choice of words. Philosophy would be a more accurate word.

  • @GeetarAdam No, religion answers what science can't. Like Greek mythology, which we now know to be false. Eventually once we figure enough about the universe out the need for a god will be eliminated.

  • @shorebreaker9000 What many cannot grasp is a perspective on m-theory as a whole. Mathematics aside, I found it easier to understand by first understanding WHY i cannot perceive it, then I understood. The analogy of a 2d being only seeing slices of a 3d human and not understanding the full spectrum of their observation is a good comparison of how we cannot perceive the higher spacial dimensions, and live within but a slice of the higher spacial dimensions.

  • @Kinsky2309 Agreed. Trying to unveil the mechanisms by which the universe functions has nothing AT ALL to do with God. Religion attempts to answer questions of "why", where science attempts to answer "how".

  • @bcthegift It's all thee in the Chuang Tzu: piping of the universe

  • Common i beleive in god.. ppl who ridicule everything coz they dont understand or because of god they should think about this.. scientist arent trying to make you feel dumb or eksplain that there is no god.. they are trying to figure it out,, all the great questions.. many great theories have been proven wrong coz we got a little smarter,.. but still all that theory gave us inventions that worked or leaded us the knowlidge that we have today.. only coz it wasent that stupid at all.. BE CURIOUS

  • All of the hateful comments made by the scientific against the pious, or vice versa, are the epitome of immaturity. M theory is not about religion, so please stop with the preaching and take it to a clip about church. The math behind this particular type of physics is not too hard or incomprehensible, and the "layman" can go take Algebra I and Calculus and know wtf physicists are talking about.

  • @WinterXL

Why would you say that? That's so low :/

  • @shorebreaker9000 i dont think anyone truly gets this, thats what modern physics is attempting to do, so the layman really doesnt understand it, or at leas the math behind it all...
