The three things are completely different. First, sex is your body and gender is your mind. Secondly, your sexual orientation has nothing to do with your gender. The main character (Lucas) Is a man (gender), female (sex) and is gay (sexual orientation). His gender has always been and will always be a man... so will his sexual orientation. However, his sex is now able to change. Making it 'easier'...won't as he will still be a man on the inside and staying female will only mean he's unhappy.

La película es muy buena. Trata sobre una chica trans (Luke) que intenta conseguir un cuerpo masculino. Ella no es lesbiana, a ella le gustan los chicos ya que desear lucir como un chico y ser lesbiana son dos cosas muy distintas - según Luke -

Ella se enamora (él) de un chico gay(Fabian)

"gender is your mind" that has to be the stupidest thing ever written.There are two genders.... male or female. some animals like shrimps, rana rugosa frog, swordtails, guppies, mollusks.can change their gender when breeding requires. being gay is an orientation of your sexuality.

I know you might be confused as to whether or not sex or gender establishes sexual orientation. If you identify as a man, but are biologically female and love men, then you are gay. As to whether or not the biological man will still be attracted to the transgendered man is up to him. That is why it is hard for transgendered individuals to find partners. Many can't look past the fact that the person isn't catering to their needs sexually, for lack of the desired sex organs etc.

The movie is about a transgender boy (Luke, Female to male) and another boy who is gay. The gay boy loves Luke and Luke has not told that other boy that he is trans. (That's all I know, sorry if I didn't help much.)
