you can also just multiply 7 by the amount of times 32 goes into 100 (100/32). If you are multiplying numerators and denominators by different numbers, you will get a wrong answer.
You can also cross multiply. U use an interesting method, but one that is too time consuming IMO.

and for 45/123 ? How many % is this?

You can just use the calculator for it 7/32 = 0.21875, and move the decimal over two places to the right; round up. Takes only a few seconds.

7 / 32 = 0.21875 x 100 = 21.9%
