Looking at a couple of trains at Takaosanguchi Station, and riding one to Takao Station.

  • Reminds me of all the times I waited for the train at lonley spoys like Kawagoe station.

  • @grig60 The end of the line on branch lines is sometimes a very quiet place! - LHS

  • Why are they running that long trains when there's no people? It have to be cheaper to disconnect some carts.

  • @KingBazia It's only empty at that first station out at the end of the line. From the second station, several people get on, and by the time the train reaches Shinjuku (the opposite end of the line) it'll be full (or nearly full) of people. - LHS

  • If I ever visit Tokyo again I'll definitely have to ride on the train when there's no people! You make this seem like so much fun!

  • @StarDr0ps It is fun actually - it so rarely happens that you get not only one train car all to yourself, but several, that you suddenly feel like a three-year-old in a large room - Weeee!! Weeeee!! Ha-ha! But just for about three minutes - until it reaches the next station where people always get on! - LHS
