How to remove a disc from a ylod 60gb ps3

How to remove a disc from a ylod 60gb ps3 or any Old model ps3 that does not work. By opening the blue ray drive.

once i get the blu ray drive out of the ps3 i'm assuming its a sata cable its using? Shouldn't i be able to plug it in to a computer at that point and eject without hopening the blu ray drive itself? I understand the computer won't be able to read the disk off the drive but you would think the eject would at least work on the drive
