71 mac: thanks. When I first heard your response, I though of the Steve Perry CD set I have, but it's not his greatest hits...the rest are are on order from Amazon. This is such an amazing song, so I hope it's a track on it's way as I write. Thanks for the info. You're about the age of my step-daughter who used to listen to Journey when she was a teenager. This wasn't the song I fell in love with, but is, without question, the one I love the most today. Thank you for the feedback.

Steve Perry has the gift!! this video shoot was filmed at sony studios in culver city, we were there all day, Steve hung out by me most of the day, ( I was on piano, note my "fingers, no face shot unfortunately), we fooled around with journey songs between takes, he suggested we write a tune together, he sang full voice live over that huge orchestra.. truly amazing!! i'll never forget that day
