Savita Ji is so much fun to watch, there are far too many Indian mother in laws MILS as I call them that behave in the same manner. All low class and superstitious and way too much religion being used for the blame game. Shame on the Indian culture and its caste system. Try telling a black man in America he isn't or doesn't belong to your caste class, you might wake up in a hospital bruised up real bad.

If I am not wrong in the very start of the show, Sachin comes to see Archana to marry her but when told that Archana is uneducated , offers to marry Varsha instead . This is what I think .
And can I agree , Manju has such sadistic expressions on at time . I hate her charcater
