Drumming Circle and Fire Twirling at Burleigh Heads Australia

Come and join in or simply enjoy the drumming circle and fire twirling every Sunday evening at 6:30pm at Burleigh Heads.

It's held in the large grassed area that sits on the North side of the Burleigh Surf Club and is open to anyone to come and drum ... or do fire twirling ... or simply watch.

It's a free, family, fun time of drumming and fire dancing.

There are often large crowds with locals bringing their own drums to sit in on the drumming circle, known as The Burleigh Beat.

As the sun settles down for the evening,the drums start to play which in turn brings the fire twirlers to start their own circle of dancing to the beat of the drums.

Kids, mums, dads and Grandparents all enjoy dancing to the beat, and watching the fire dancers.

You cant go past visiting Burleigh Heads on a Sunday afternoon, sitting beachside, enjoying a glass of wine or a picnic dinner, while experiencing the sights and sounds of The Burleigh Beat.

All beginners will be made to feel comfortable in their new environment.

Beginners 4 Week Course
Starts first Tuesday of each month at 7pm.
Cost $60 for 4 weeks.
Drum Hire $5 per night, if needed.

Love it!!! It is so awesome to know that these good vibes are worldwide. I just went to a Winter Solstice drumming celebration here in Fort Lauderdale,FL USA where there was fire twirling also. I haven't gotten the guts to do it yet, but I sure had a great time with my hula hoop!
