  • remember guys, this is still fairly new technology. It isn't perfect. So wait a few years for flaws to be fixed.

  • still havent seen one of these on the road...

  • Bob Lutz is a Fucking Puttz... The Volt is an Overpriced, Over-Engineered, Corporate "FEEL-GOOD" Pile of Bull SHIT !!!! $32,400 is Affordable ! Seriously ???

Lets "GET REAL" America !!!. Cars for the Masses that are AFFORDABLE is the KEY Here !!!. Lets get the masses OFF the OPEC oil TIT !!! Lets stop allowing other countrys - Most of the them Radical Muslim - To Control our Economy !!! Its time NOW - not Tomorrow !!!

  • @kalargyi The differences is that a hybrid uses the gas to actually move the car, while this car does not. This is a big difference because now you can go long distances with no compromise to power with just electricity.

  • Pontiac was awesome!!! I liked the Solstice.

  • @beyeriii dude, that is just sad... Pontiac GTO is considered the first muscle car, do you really think a mustang could take that honor? And the Chevy Camaro doubled the mustang in sales for the first two or three years. And, I see where you are coming from. Mustang started the pony cars, but the GTO started the Muscle cars. Muscles are bigger and badder.

  • electricity still causes pollution!!! and as long as there is fossil fuel the big oil executives will never allow new technology!!!

  • Lame! Gas+Electric Motor= Hybrid ,.... no matter how it works, plug-in or not.

  • I knew a European was involved in the design of this car. No way Americans can come up with this by themselves

  • We purchased a Cadillac this year (good vehicle and it doesn't hurt to support the US). My concern with these electric cars is that the USA use coal to generate most of its electricity (very unclean). Also, batteries require so much energy to produce and they pollute via their acid, etc. Finally, maybe "reinventing" the Volt is not so bad; case and point: Toyota Prius (it just looks different).
