Why HoN is better than LoL

The reason I hate HoN is simply because they have no real way of teaching new players what to do. Starting in LoL it is very obvious what items buff what and what is best to buy and such... Playing HoN is fun but when I ask people how to play during games they just rage at me for being new... The difference is that when I play LoL I don't need to ask because the game provides a simple means of knowing what the fuck is happening.

@bushzzz Both games are entertaining in their own way, and they both has their pros/cons. It all usually comes down to what game you started playing first, and than hate on the other.

But look at the statistics between Hon and LoL, when you claim that your game is better. LoL has a lot more active players, and millions more accounts than Hon, including bigger community and matchmaking system. HoN had to make their game Free-for-all to keep up the popularity of LoL.

@LiAk0sW4y I attend gaming tournaments regularly, I'm going to college for nuclear engineering with a possible dual major in mechanical engineering.  I've played video games/read comic books/ attended said tournaments since i was 13. Your argument is invalid. I said LoL is easier to learn, which is completely true from what most people say. I can play the game, but like i said the merchant system is sloppy IMO. Being a nerd has nothing to do with it.

@MrF1zzy So, a game being more simple than another makes it better? I don't think so, what makes HoN far superior than LoL is that it's way more challenging and requires more "skill" to be played affectively. My 6 year own cousin pwns ass in LoL, that game is only for "new" people on RTS (MOBA) gaming. (such maybe as you?) HoN is for gamers, aka nerds, like me. Fact. Peace.

HoN's community is definately worst than LoL's, but S2 Games give a great job trying to teach new players with videos. Besides, the HoN tutorial is way better than LoL's tutorial.

That being said, I play HoN and LoL and I'll start playing DotA 2 soon. Why have just 1 good game when you can have 3?
