@stephenawolfe EXACTLY....My guess is that measuring the energy used in the process is not trivial. That means DON'T ask and engineer to do it, get a physicist.
Well there is something called Sonoluminescence and I suppose if they could be setting up the right type of collapsing bubbles they could generate more energy than put in because of a nuclear reaction.
Throw out the law of conservation of energy? Lets use Occam's razor on this dilemma; the newsmen here are duped (or paid off) OR long standing scientific laws are being broken? You know it may be a big deal to the nobel prize for physics nominating committee -- IDK there may be some money in it too.
Over-unity eh? Why doesn't he prove it by having it run constantly, off the power it produces. It's most likely far more efficient than traditional electric water heaters, but for it to produce more energy than it uses...... I'd need to see it with my own eyes and independent testing...
@billybobhobnob101 BINGO!

Could work in space though. Utilizing magnetism.

Friction heater.. Nice! But unless he has a rod of uranium in there, he is not making more energy than he is using..

Using a 50KW "small electric motor" to make 10KW worth of steam...and all this proudly made in America ! :-)
