It did not work for me but, to see the sharing tab you have to go into the networks properties as admin.

fuckin a this was too easy... after 3 origin reps couldnt help me and after reinstalling th game and going through hell for about 30 hours now... this little fucking box was the only problem...

@dahlfest89 no windows 7 but there is something you have to do to show it .... im not quiet sure what it was but try showing all hidden folders

For the sake of Win7 users, can you at least say what it is that you're leaving unchecked? We have different configuration so your directions are no use. Either that, or this copy of BF3 finds itself in the microwave! Spending more time trying to connect than actually playing!!!

some other fixes
open Task Manager, click File, than Run and type ipconfig /flushdns
dissable all other networks like hamachi or tungle ect
Control panel => network and internet => Network and sharing center => then click local are connection =>Properties => click the tab sharing =>and make sure the first checkbox is NOT checked
uhm other than that i dna but i will give it more thought and post more fixes if i find :)

go to network and sharing ..... then local area connection then properties then sharing its there trust.... the box says allow other network users to connect through this computers internet connection ..... that must be unchecked ....
