Bob Dylan - From A Buick 6 (Alternate) [vinyl]

The very first stereo copies of Highway 61 Revisited were mistaken pressed with an alternate version of From A Buick 6. Thought I'd share with those who haven't heard.

That's a REALLY nice copy you've got there. Barely any surface noise (although the M97xE is somewhat known for not picking much up). How much did it cost you?

i got -really- lucky... neither i nor the seller were aware it was anything but a normal stereo copy... until it arrived and i checked out the matrices

not entirely sure, but i believe all copies with -1A through -1C matrices have the alt take

I have a 1965 copy of Highway 61 Revisited with this alternate take that I bought at a thrift shop for $10 around 2003 and it's in really good condition too and in my 2002 record album price guide it says its worth $350 in near mint condition.I wonder if it went up in value since then or not?I played it after I bought it and heard that it was the alternate take and said yeah I got the rare copy!
