Dump truck crushed to protest gas prices

An Elyria man, Anthony Whitmore smashes his dump truck to protest high diesel prices. The $5,000 truck was demolished at Bluestar recycling.

He could have just parked it if it cost too much to use. Now that the price of diesel has dropped, he would be able to do more work.

For a protest to be effective it has to affect other people. A protest like this just makes a man look foolish.
