How to display your iPod on a TV

The cable for this is $50 as of now made by apple. There are other cords but im not sure if they will work. If your try them let me know!

Hey,

I just wondered if you have any app that displays your ipod display to your tv? Or is your ipod jailbroken? Most people are saying that it will only display music/vids and pictures via the dock connection. In order to display your homescreen and other apps you have to have a jailbroken ipod with a certain app. Is that right or wrong?
