Bought the amp, and I play three teles through it. 1 modded squier and two home made from scratch. The one with the twin P90s sounds AWESOME through this little darling.
If you wanna play live with a drummer better invest in a nice little 2x12" cab.
Otherwise, superb.

I have got the same guitar and have the same amp ordered and on its way. Its good to hear them sound so good together. My mim standard fsr tele also has the reverse control plate.

@prgsurf yeah... i just ordered the head and had to buy the Weber Z Matcher to match it to my the cab i had in mind.

@jeremiahtaylor601 a 100 watt tube head does not mean it is twice as loud as a 50 watt head. has nothing to do with 2+2=4.

has anyone here had/have an ac4 and had reliability issues?

just got mine in the mail and I absolutely love it. Louder than I thought it would be. I live in a dorm and can't get away with even the 1 watt setting. Great playing man

we hear in a log scale, so you'd need to increase wattage by 10 to double volume, which is why a 50 watt amp is twice as loud as 5 watt amp, and half as loud as a 500 watt amp.
But this is just speaking in terms of physics, you still need to consider everything else like speaker efficiency....and all the other variables.

that's a great idea reversing the control plate on the tele, keeping the pickup selector away from your strumming path and the volume and tone knobs closer for swells. awesome. I'm so gonna do that to my tele now. :)
