@LuLzMetalock Totally with you on that, I think it should either be in New York or Mass! I think a Mass setting would be more interesting for me because I'm less familiar with the territory.

@nerdobot Fallout new vegas is still more closely related to fallout 1 & 2. Black isle studios developed fallout 1 & 2, and when interplay disbanded black isle, the members of black isle created obsidian. The original creators of fallout, are also the ones who made fallout new vegas. Fallout 3 is really the spin off game, not really new vegas.

@retlaw83 you'll have to forgive me, I never finished Fallout 2. I thought that New Vegas ran on the same/a similar engine to Fallout 3, but was designed by Obsidian; produced by Bethesda. I thought it was a different bunch of people.

Fallout 4 is Fallout 4 and New Vegas is something different.
