The swelling has gone down even more especially in my nostril area. The swelling from where my hump was has gone down quite a bit too.

There is some peeling of the skin but that's normal.

I have no pain or discomfort.

My breathing right now is better than it was before the surgery. I'm very happy with the results and I continue to see what's new everyday.

The goal of rhinoplasty is to improve the nose aesthetically (without creating a surgical look) in order to create harmony with other facial features.

How long does the nose stay sensitive after the cast removal?

Most people feel that the nose is somewhat numb and very hard after cast removal. Some patients say that it feels like it is a piece of wood.

It is common that the nose could feel sensitive for a number of weeks following surgery. Healing takes time.
