'12 KTM 300 XC Horse Shoe Lake Loop - Michigan Trail Ride

If you like the tight stuff this trail is for you! This is near Fremont, Michigan. Ridden on December 5th in about 30 degree temps. The ground is still soft in Michigan but is very close to freezing which will force me to get out the studs.

Well I didn't think the Honda 450X was a bad bike, but I did think it was limiting my speed in the tight trails and making me tired prematurely. The 450X is like 50lbs heavier than the 300xc. The xc is a blast to ride! It's just as powerfull but is a lot easier to handle. I would have never taken my 450X on an MX track. Really there is no comparison! The 300 is for serious riding, what ever terrain you want to tackle. The 450X is for baja or dual sporting.

Hi, nice vids. Just wondering how you like the 300 xc compaired to the 450x?

I can't decide what I would like better a 300 xc or a 450... Kinda leaning toward the 300. I do alot of trail riding in Michigan also "where I live" and some mx tracks. just wondering if you had some imput that might help persuade me in my decision. Thanks!! -Ride on fellow Michigander-
