is this wall painted with this special beamer paint stuff? i'm thinkin about buying the ax200e but i'm not sure about the quality on a common wall..

No, there is no special paint used and all you see is my living rooms wall which is kind of cream colour.

Picture quality was pretty decent on a wall but you do need a screen to get most of it ;).
