Similar to Eric Whitacre's amazing Virtual choir project, we are hopefully going to be creating the first Virtual Concert Band recording. :) this project will take lots of time and work, but will be worth it in the end.

HOW TO GET STARTED YOU MUST GO HERE AND READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS: http://virtualconcertband.blogspot.com/

  • is there an age limit? because i was thinking of giving this a shot, but i'm in middle school...

  • @TheNortherner29 there is no age limit. :)

  • @virtualconcertband

I plan on playing Tuba, and possibly trombone if I have time for it, but I have a question about split parts, should I make a recording of each with the 'upper' splits and another with the 'lower' splits.

  • @rubix12321 Hi there! if you have time to make two videos then that is awesome. :) However, if you only have time for one you can choose which ever one you prefer. :)

  • Is there another one of these happening that anyone knows of? I'd really like to participate in one. Very cool idea. I am a flute major, music teacher now. Please let me know anyone....

  • i def wanna see how this comes out....the chorus was amazing so this should be spectacular

  • Any way there is a late deadline? lol

  • @trulybubbly hehe, I'm trying to get my recording working first...if I listen to the track on my mp3 player, it plays faster than the actual recording... :P I need to figure this out before I can make any recording. I was planning on doing Tuba, and then trombone, I was planning on doing the Bass trombone part next.

  • @rubix12321 you should to trombone 3 if you are to do trombone because some guy covered trombone 2 and i also did one on trombone 1... i think it would be good to cover all parts.

  • Hey. I'm a trombonist in junior year (high school). I'll do it for sure. I hope all parts get covered eventually.

  • Is it possible to be picked for multiple parts?

  • I have been working on a recording, and I think (if you decide to do it again) you should do October and propose to EW to conduct it. :D That would be awesome. Oh yeah, and either way, that is a great piece.

  • @SaltyTestes me too dude! im going to give it a try as well.
