The second of 3 parts on 2+2 sports cars. The guys test the newbie of the group, the Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8. How will the upstart do against the aging Mazda RX-8, and more luxurious Infiniti G37S? See more reviews at EverydayDriver.com

  • I'm a huge fan of you guys and the Smoking Tire. While I've always been a huge Top Gear nut (what gear head isnt?) Im sick of watching them drive stupid shit like tractors and snow plows. They're straying away from what made them great: guys who love cars talking about cars. You guys and Matt Farah really hit the nail on the head with your reviews. Now my question! Im in college (so Ive a budget) and want a 2+2, whats the better drivers car a loaded hyundai 3.8 or the 5.0 mustang with brembos?

  • @BlueAvenue22 - Thanks so much for the compliments. We can't hope to compete with Top Gear, so it's quite flattering to be mentioned in the same sentence.

    - now, on your question. Both Genesis & Mustang are great drivers cars for the money. Current 5.0 is a bit better - But there's a new Genesis coming soon... and we'd recommend the upcoming Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S on your testdrive list. Drive the Genesis & Mustang back to back we bet you'll quickly know which one is for you.

  • this channel is awesome! why hadn't i found you guys before!?!?

  • @Shuffle3956 - We're glad you've found us now! Tell a friend or two and stay tuned!

  • plzzzz respond was that in california?????

  • @p8ntballtrav - You're asking about the road where this was filmed?

Yes, it was in Southern California, north of Valencia.

  • @mintkendishin - We do everything we can to release a new video every three weeks.

We would love to release something every week, but that would require a worthwhile financial sponsor for the show. Our productions are pretty involved and actually cost us money to produce. And we provide them for free. So, the more people who watch, the more content we'll be able to create. Thanks for watching, and please tell a friend!

  • @wlcohen - Thanks for watching! We do mention in the review that 2011 has some interior improvements.

They didn't fix everything, and it's still not up to the Infiniti, but it still isn't the Infiniti price either. Definitely a step in the right direction and shows the Hyundai is constantly trying to improve their product!

  • this red one really looks cheap car

  • I truly love both Smoking Tires and EverydayDriver. They makes review really to the point and gives out a lot of information. But after I watched Matt's video in smoking tires, I think he should do more complete review with the genesis, not with some french chef and crap like that. I feel like you guys reviewed this car more thoroughly !

    Thank you!

  • @BlueAvenue22 The 2013 Gen Coupe has 274hp for the 2.0T/ 350 for the 3.8

  • Well I'm moving out of our Chevy and our car of choice is the 3.8 Genesis Coupe, I never buy new,,I search out a unit under a year old,, low mileage and full warranty and save myself thousands over new list price.

Two of my friends at my club own the 3.8 coupe and I 've had the chance to take one of the cars on a long drive ( 940 km. round trip ).

No wonder you can't find a poor review on this car anywhere, it's just simply a great machine, and with a warranty that's second to none.

  • @EverydayDriver Subaru BRZ/ Scion FR-S for sure, but did you hear about the pre order list in Japan? HOLY SH**

  • where do you guys get 5.9. it's supposed to be closer to 5.5 or 5.4

  • @EverydayDriver what new genesis? I see an ugly facelift but no new genesis in sight.
