Lane Splitting on R-46; look towards the right when I start mentioning the shoulder lane; the guy from vid2 is cruising on it. Traffic was diverted to a single exit due to a garbage truck flipping over (what I heard later that day) but it's not seen on the vid. The inevitable happens and I must sit in traffic. • The "Inevitable"? I thought you were talking about going along and one of the civilians opens his or her car door and CRUNCH! Had me scared there for a while!

  • Wow, I want a bike now, that looked like it saved so much time.

  • motherfucker, I bet you get to work in like 20 mins while the rest of us suckers take like over an hour!! LOL

  • @Damian2257 i dont think hes going fast enough! they stlll have cars passing him. I like to keep a faster pace then the tracfic because you always have more focus forward then behind. when your constantly passing and not getting passed i think its safer in my opinion

  • This my friends, is why i love my bike :D

  • Fuck traffic

  • That was one of the most boring video's I have seen yet...

  • @marhanen Disagree. I do check my mirrors every 5-7 seconds and am always aware of my surroundings. This is specifically why it scared the crap out of me because he was travelling faster than I could perceive in my mirror. I would consider that reckless of the rider and not on my part at all. As motorcyclists we need to take responsibility for being invisible, remember that in the end it's our lives on the line.

  • @Damian2257 well thats not the riders fault, you should always now whats happening around by checking your mirrors atleast every 5-7 sec

  • @D13fledermause I tend to agree, unlike others who have commented here. I'm pro-lane filtering, but iffy about lane splitting. I've been on my motorcycle and had another motorcycle lane split past me and it has scared the crap out of me enough for me to nearly lose control.
