The name Mitch became synonymous with one of the most devastating hurricanes the World has ever seen, affecting more than 2.5 million people, more than 20'000 either dead or missing, nearly 300'000 homes destroyed...

  • why wont they comment on deforestation? that is why the mudslides where so deadly,the solution is not just move to the higher grounds, mud slides will keep on happening with deadly occurrences. it is until there is more forest area placed, and grown on these almost bare lands that this will no longer be such a large problem!!!!!

  • im honduran and let me tell that for you to say that is very easy because a country like the US has the funds to talk about that...here in Honduras, specifically nowadays everything is getting worse...corruption in all levels that affect people in several ways and new agreements in exploits to our natural resources taht are not truly regulated,,,,its really sad to know the ptential we have but to know how the indifference of people in power and the blindness the world shows to many situations
