It's not that hard to pronounce the name. My friend is named the same and we just call her kat or kasia. The judges keep telling them how important it is to not say a name wrong in the fashion industry, and then they can't even pronounce the name on one of their contestants right. Hypocritical much.

I'm actually glad she didn't win... the title of ANTM holds little weight in the modeling industry! This girl rocks harder than almost all of the other contestants!

@fuzziness2nd You are absolutely right. They mostly pic models of Asian descent to play the role of someone that gets picked on w/o standing up for themselves. They disregarded the beauty and pride that comes along with Katarzyna's ethnic name. I hate stereotypes and discrimination no matter what race, sex, religion, ethnicity, or sexual orientation it goes toward.

Okay, so they can't say her name right. They don't speak Polish, so they're obviously not going to say it with the right inflection. Near the end they were saying it exactly the way I heard her say it. It happens.

@karian456 Yes, I didn't mean that one justifies the other. The show HAS been rather offensive to young black women as well and I disagree with that wholeheartedly I find those comments rather unprofessional and irrelevant. But pointing out someones heritage in such a demeaning way, no matter where the person comes from, is just plain wrong.
