Several years ago "gay" meant just happy and was used in several disney movies... When homosexual people came "out of the closet" to say it someway, they took the "gay" word and make it theyres... You know happy people this guys were and it also meant "good as you" to show society they reallly where as good as anyone... But the song is great anyway :D
