You're a douchebag. They said clearly several times in most of the airings "Let's go back to earlier today in China to 'event'". The only thing East coast so truely live was the stuff that happened from 8ish in the morning in china the next day, to 2ish in china, the next day, which means east coast was up until 2 in the morning, every morning watching live events, but even then they still said some of it wasn't live.

but you engage in a duel you cannot win by failing to recognize that gymnastics, swimming and beach vollleyball were all live for the east and not the west.

my motto says it all, the west coast is the best coast because the east coast is the least coast. it's funny all the sports offices are in new york and everybody in power either lives in new york or is from new york, it's does'nt help matters any that the capital of the usa and the largest city and media hub of the usa. if you ask me, that's stacking the deck against the west coast, i say us west coasters leave the union and form our own country. then we can get some R-E-S-P-E-C-T. west 4 life.

The only reason the East Coast has this so-called "bias" is because of the time zone. Imagine if the sports media was centralized and hubbed in the west coast, which is 3 hours behind the east coast. People in the east coast would whine and complain on how late the games were on. I'm from the west coast (Cali) and I don't mind it. In fact I see as a better commadity. Earlier games.

Ive always thought how much it would suck to be a sports fan on the west coast. NFL games starting at 10 am? The sunday and monday 'night' games starting at 6 PM! Other playoff sporting events starting while you are still at work or stuck in traffic on a weekday? It would be so weird and would suck being a sports fan in California.
