This video show two ways the Cruzbike can cross, climb, or "hop" curbs in urban environments. The front-wheel drive and dual suspension help make these moves possible.

  • fun videos. I may have to consider the conversion kit.

I've seen a lot of videos now of people cruising around parking lots, but can this thing get up to speed too like a regular recumbent?

  • how about 3 world records? Search UMCA and Cruzbike for a video.

  • He has fat 28c tyres on that slow you down immensely. They are also semi deflated. This and the suspension is what allows him to climb the kerb AT A VERY SLOW PACE. ph1lo is right. At no time does he hop either wheel and if he had any speed at all his wheel first and then his entire frame would buckle. This is NOT a kerb hopper of any description. It may be good for other things but he is trying to delude you on this bunny hop thing.

  • at no point did you bunny hop. you just went straight into it. good way to get flats and buckled wheels i think.

these bikes look like good fun though. but good luck with hills!!!!

  • Whatever one may think of this, the real innovations in cycling are in the recumbent world. What is left to be done with DF, traditional bikes? Not much.

  • How does it ride? I've heard people say that it feels like they're being towed when they ride a FWD bike; they say they don't use as much power as with RWD bikes, is this true?

  • this seems very dificult. thank you for keeping the veiwers up to date with the newest extreme bike tricks

  • It's called 'bumping over' and 'getting off'

  • Loving the Cruzbike Jim especially the kit to add to your own bike, pleased to see the expansion of this great idea.
