  • One Flew over the Cuckoo's Nest score s great.

  • Haha, Alex North was nominated 15 times and never won.

    1. Jaws

    2. The Wind and the Lion

    3. Bite the Bullet

    4. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest

  • A very hard year to decide, I think Jerry has to blame John for his only winning one Oscar.

  • @luquet3 - I must agree there. It's very obvious why Jaws won and it wasn't undeserved. It was a very effective score, but as a standalone listening experience on album The Wind and the Lion was far superior.

  • Jaws is great, but The Wind and the Lion should have won.

  • My ratings for this year:

    1. Jaws (John Williams)*****

    2. The Wind and the Lion (Jerry Goldsmith)*****

    3. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (Jack Nitzsche)****

    4. Bite the Bullet (Alex North)****
