  • Hey, Ive got the exact same car (98 GT) and im VERY curious about doing the 5.4L swap. I was considering doing the 2v swap because supposedly it is much easier to do. My main question is how much harder was the 4v swap?

  • @MrThatvideoguy you can use k-member spacer or a cowl hood to clear the intake. The main problem with the 4v is the lack of intake manifold. I've used a 96-98 cobra intake and have it cutted in half then widen and rewelded.

    MMR is doing it for $700.

    If you have the cash and time, go with 4v you wont regret it.

  • oui c'est vraiment différent. Si tu swap , va y pour un 4v. C'est plus chère mais ça marche tellement plus !

  • No shit you had no traction in 1st and 2nd. If I put spare tire wide wheels on my 2v with 4:10's I could spin through 4th. I spin the tires in 3rd as it is with 10.5's. lol. Seriously sick stang tho dude. not my top pick on wheels (every one has their opinion) but definitely a good engine choice
