I have an 5 year old conure, and they really are special birds. Among the best I would say. Sam's really a beautiful bird. How old is she/he?

@177gaga mine likes black oily sun flower seeds...same size as normal ones...just all black. if you feed her a mix of stuff, just look at what she eats most of..thats her favorite. then go buy pellet food for her. that will be her base diet (dont go cheap, it needs to be good food) and add fresh fruit and veggies. you can now use what she got on a daily bases as her treat. its hard to reward her with stuff thats already in cage. you can usually buy specific seed(her treat) in bulk.
