Nadishana plays Tsaaj Nplaim, extremely rare free reed flute from Hmong people of Laos. Recorded at workshop "Instruments of the world" at Dahlem ethnological museum, Berlin

  • it only sound like it's not hmong b/c he's blowing it deeper than the traditional hmong way of blowing it but none the less it's hmong. if you look at the way hmong blow it, they blow it from the top and he's doing it a different way hence the sound is different.

  • I am very impressed...now all he needs to learn is the the other hmong flute called the "Qeej"....i want to see him do that too. It's crazy when you other race besides your own play other race's instruments.  We need more people like this.

  • When hmong play the flute they can translate it to words, thus communicate with each other through the flute. Your music may be the same way.
