The Beauty and The Briefcase//Part12

Watch part 11 on nileysaywhat's channel, if you haven't already. Sorry for the delay, I'm on holiday now and I don't have much internet but I thought I'd quickly upload this. Probably won't be able to update for a couple of weeks now though. But I hope you enjoy :)

She felt more confused at this moment then she had ever felt before. Never had she spent hours thinking about one guy because she always forgot about them the minute the date was over.
The way Nick had treated her, was the way she treated the guys she went out with the morning after. But she didn't like being the dump-e. She did not like it one bit. She did not want to be the one standing at the door feeling rejected.
She wandered into the kitchen, making herself some breakfast and then sitting at the counter eating it. She didn't even like him that much so why should she care. She didn't care, that's what she had to keep telling herself now.
The rest of the weekend went by in a blur as she put together a plan to go through with her assignment as well as make Nick regret letting her go.

On Monday morning, Miley wore a very professional yet incredibly slutty outfit, determined to be successful. She strode across to her desk, smirking and winking at any gorgeous man she laid her eyes upon; knowing well that Nick would be looking through his glass borders.
She sat at her desk and started to do the normal routine Nick had her do. She could feel his eyes burning through her body but she kept her gaze focused at her screen. A shadow appeared at her desk, making her look up.
"Hey! I don't know if you remember me but I'm Justin" The man told her. Miley sat back on her chair, judging him first before speaking.
He had fair skin and blond hair, nothing compared to Nick's. Miley quickly shook her head, looking past Justin and saw Nick staring bluntly at the pair. She smirked.
"Oh of course I remember you!" Miley giggled, even though she had no clue where they had talked before. "How are you doing?"
"I'm good!" he grinned widely at Miley.
Miley took a quick look at her computer screen and smirked. "Hey could you help me with something; my computers been acting up and its really weird." She said as she called him near her. It was apparently near enough to make Nick jump out of his seat and march his way over to them.
"Justin!" his voice boomed, making Justin jump up with a scared look on his face. "What do you think you're doing here? Didn't I tell you to get that brief ready? Is it ready Justin?"
"M-Mr. Jonas, I was just introducing myself. I'll get back to work straight away." He started to walk away but Miley decided she wasn't quite done torturing Nick.
"Justin, hold up! I can help you with the brief, I'm done for now but I can stay through my lunch break" She smiled at him flirtingly.
You could practically see the steam pouring out of Nick's ears at that moment but he said nothing and stomped away back to his office, grunting continuously for the rest of the day.
