This is my first upright with my newest instrument, a Stagg EDB electric upright bass. I've had it for a little over a month, so I'm not very good yet, but I wanted to post something of me playing it.

I'm a complete beginner to upright bass so if you have any (constructive) comments about my technique feel free to post them. Otherwise, enjoy!

  • What effect pedal are you using?

  • @BlindFolded96 I'm using a Zoom G-1 multi-effects pedal. It's not the best, but it gets the job done.

  • Do red state girl next

  • @TOOLbassplayer1 Haha. We'll see...

  • looks quite uncomfortable the way it twists around (ooh er). does it feel like your battling it? good stuff as always though. i'm enjoying your vids.

  • @MrSttelnoj Haha! "Battling it" is the perfect way to put it. That's definitely due to my poor technique rather than the bass itself, though. I've been trying to work proper technique lately and I'm slowly improving. It's a lot harder transitioning from electric bass to upright than I thought it would be, but I'm getting there. Thanks for the comment/advice. :)
