Wow! I would never have thought that a grouper would be that friendly! It's great to see that something will eat those pesky lionfish though. Hopefully they develop a liking for them!

@BarraMasterDave Don't be horrified, little friend! They are parasitic and are wiping out the cleaner wrasse, a very important fish to reefs. Everyone - humans and groupers and, well, anything that can eat one—should eat lionfish.

@NickGallardo520 That is a Nassau Grouper. As you can see from the video, it's a very friendly fish. The video was shot a year or so ago and we petted it again on a trip down there just last month...

There are 2 groupers, Mimime and Benji, that all the dive masters at Little Cayman Beach Resort (and all the other resorts for that matter) are familiar with. They are always around the same dive sites. I'm sure you will get to meet them...
