She is one of those few westerns who worked really hard to bridge the gap between islam and chiristanity. Most of the viewers may not know this that she has left part of her estate as a prestigious scholarship to pay for pakistani students who are interested in doing their masters in the uk. May God bless her soul for her tremendous contribution to enhance and expose islamic literature to western main stream readers. You will be dearly missed Miss Schimmel !
