Go to configure>preferences, then go to tools, go to add, and then select all the things you see that relate to Java.

Yes it does.
Any editor will work as long as its not WordPad or microsoft word. If you don't use textpad, I recommend Notepad++. It doesn't have all the java-specific features as TextPad, it is a very good programming editor.
the jdk file wont download for me maybe i alreayd have it idk
