This was a project I did for a class at the University of Notre Dame using my Macbook pro and iMovie. (There is a full explanation below. Please view at 1080p at full screen to get the best effect!)
I created a fictional film trailer for George MacDonald's short story "The Light Princess" using clips from the movie "Tangled." This story was the inspiration for the great writer C.S. Lewis who was a student in MacDonald's course.
In "The Light Princess" a princess is cursed by a witch to always float and also to never experience the seriousness of life. She is unable to feel sorrow, is superficial, and from then on always physically floats up in the air. She discovers she can only stay grounded while swimming in a nearby lake where she meets a self-sacrificing prince. The witch who originally cursed her is angered by their joy and again curses the lake to disappear, along with all of the water in the kingdom. The price decides save the princess by offering to drown himself, which is revealed will break the curse and restore water to the kingdom. Ultimately, he is saved, the curse is broken, the witch is destroyed, and the princess is able to rest easily on the ground and learn the meaning of true love.
Enjoy :)

Very nice! You know, there was a film made of this story for the BBC in 1990. You can find it on Ebay once in a while on VHS. I haven't seen it though.
