Well his intervention on behalf of labor preserved and saved the constitution. The tactics used by the Plutocrats are the same then as they are today. The constitution does not mean that the Federal Government must stay on the sidelines and allow the country to crumble. The Roosevelts knew this and so did that other great Republican 'Ike'. There were Republicans and Democrats that were against his Interstate Highway Transporation bill (too much Federal Government) yet he created millions of jobs

This is a fallacy and you know it, no one is going to be sent to jail. These are the same tactics that were used against TR, FDR, Truman, Ike, JFK and LBJ when they pushed for badly needed reform whether it be for Labor, healthcare or the environment. When the coal miners went on strike in 1901/02, conservative Republicans and the Democrats advised TR not to get involved (but if he did to come down on the side of the coal mine owners). The excuse given by all was the constitution.

Actually, he doesn't work for you. there is no government system like that. There is a democracy in which all people vote on every issue, but we have a republic, in which the people elect representatives to make decisions and vote on issues. You see, your voice is heard when you vote in elections, other than that, if you want your voice heard constantly, you might want to change the system to a democracy.
