This song always brings tears to my eyes, because of the brave sacrifice that these men of conscience made. Though their homeland was across the sea they still did what was right and just. We here in Mexico will never forget el Battallon de San Patricio and Erin Go Bragh!!!

omg I didn´t know about this historic event until a while, but you´re right, those Irish soldiers a real heroesof concience and as a mexican girl I give them all my respect for fighting a war that wasn´t even their battle, but they defended the just cause from the bottom of their heart, no matter we lost that war, many thanks Ireland you´re always welcome here in Mexico and you have many friends here.
