Provided there is a good fit between the guitar surface and the bottom of the bridge surface, the glue bond wil be stronger than the wood itself...

is that just yellow wood glue or is it something stronger? I never would have thought that yellow wood glue would withstand the 125+ pounds of pressure across the bridge
