general question- unrelated to the guitar itself, BUT how much is your guitar collection worth overall(estimation)- sorry i'm a bit nosy like that :D

Yeah, like he said, the earlier Kitty Hawks were a lot different. The one he's got is actually a Dumble-type sound, much different than the later Kitty Hawks. Nice amp. I'd love to own one.

The ES-333 needs a lot of upgrades to have the sound, the feel and the look of an ES-335. This guitar was worth for the upgrades, it sounds great now. But I have no Idea how good other 333 normally are, this is the first one I got
:) Nice !!! i got a 335 myself! a brownie with 57's pickguard, grovers, mirror knobs, im going for the bigsby (with the "custom made" plate that goes over the stop bar holes), and i see the overlay would be a nice touch!

On the headstock just the crown is added, not a complete Overlay. The crown was inlayed by the Luthier

HOW DID YOU GET THE HEADSTOCK INLAY?

I bought one at ebay, took it to a local guitar builder and he did the job
