SPI Protest in Sacramento Clearcutting with ForestEthics

We wish to prevent the loss of forest diversity that has benefited mankind for millennia from being destroyed by a handful of companies with narrowly focused financial agendas that will, in the end, hurt everyone, even them.

This is a video of a protest with www.SavetheSierra.org and www.ForestEthics.org in Sacramento California to promote awareness of clear cutting and other harmful practices in the Sierra Nevada used by Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI) and other companies.

@natefeldman other than removeing the dieased trees the bug infected trees and the dead trees or in some areas its removeing and area of trees that are not growing that good eg. sickly or poor growing trees or removeing a select spices from an area like tan oak it all is done with the eviroment in mind what will grow the fastest healthest that is responcible logging that is what is done in clear cuts a lot of money goes in and they want it back when harvest time comes
