Mantis vs. HUGE Coral Banded Shrimp (Crustacean Wars VI)

The "HQ" button to the lower right of the video frame is worth it if your bandwidth can handle it.

I bought the biggest Coral Banded Shrimp I could find. I look at dozens. This thing is HUGE.

Watch closely the action at 2:00 in. There is no question at all the Coral Banded Shrimp tore it's own claw off and handed it to the mantis. Easier to see in high quality, but you can see it fine. It came off at the joint, not where the mantis was hitting it, and the shrimp was holding it in his claw until the mantis took it.

Another 30 minute battle! Again, I pieced together these clips of the battle, in the same order they happened, but dropped off a lot of the boring stuff.


Forgot to turn off my skimmer again, so there's static. blah.
