Compound does not equal less skill, it is simply a different discipline, About the only thing that is the same is the end result. An arrow is shot.
if compound archery were truly "easier" any jag off could pick up a bow and soot like these guys. it doesn't happen. the number of TOP archers shooting recurve is as high if not higher than the number of top archers shooting compound. You simply see more of the compound in the "public eye"

i understand the fact that this do take skills. but the fact of the matter is that they are using compound bows. which means it takes less skill than a person with a recurve. i mean there are people in history that can shoot accruately with a LONGBOW from maybe 50yards away. now if u look at this video and compare it with the korea challenge video, those guys were able to shoot a soybean from 30yards. even shot a arrow inside another 1. and they were using recruves.

ANY TARGET SHOT ACCURATELY AT ANY DISTANCE IS AWESOME NO MATTER THE BOW OR THE DISTANCE I HAVE SHOT OVER 30 YEARS IN ALL DISCIPLINES AND NONE OF THEM ARE EASY.BUT 3D HAS MY VOTE SINCE YOU NEVER KNOW THE DISTANCE 70M IS 70M YOU KNOW WHERE TO PUT THE PIN

the 3d girls also shoot between trees, and have a far smaller area to score as opposed to the olympic target butts

no offence man, but this is so much more difficult than these guys make it look. Thats why they're some of the best in the world. Granted, field archery or 3D archery isn't easy either, the best of the best are really good... but overall, the best archers in target archery could own most other disciplines.
