Regional Express Saab 340A VH-KDK at Burnie-Wynyard Airport, Tasmania, Australia 17 October 2007. This is the first ever Saab 340 to fly in the southern hemisphere. Registered 16 Feb 1985.

  • @xsilverstudx It was the first 340 registered in Australia. It was delivered to Kendell brand new in February 1985. She's now a freighter and can be seen sitting at Adelaide airport daily.

  • looks to me like this plane at first was doing the required daily engine tests in the morning before the video cuts to a future time

  • so it worked for kendell then rex and now its a freighter
