Regional Express Saab 340A VH-KDK at Burnie-Wynyard Airport, Tasmania, Australia 17 October 2007. This is the first ever Saab 340 to fly in the southern hemisphere. Registered 16 Feb 1985.

@xsilverstudx It was the first 340 registered in Australia. It was delivered to Kendell brand new in February 1985. She's now a freighter and can be seen sitting at Adelaide airport daily.

looks to me like this plane at first was doing the required daily engine tests in the morning before the video cuts to a future time

nice vid! but doesnt da saab 340 need to shut down the LEFT ENGINE BEFORE PARKING IT? thats what another pilot sayd to me;)!
