This is one take. I walk 500 feet across this old dam and you can hear me all the way across. No microphones, nothing. The shape of the dam makes it a tourist draw in South Australia where you can hear your voice all the way across.

    naahhhh, ive been their heaps, even though i live in the barossa, its not that spooky but its cool that you can hear people perfectly :)

  • @hipperpottermost ..your'e right...apparently,and quite by accident,the curve of the wall is such that it's able to carry the sound waves perfectly,without distortion,for it's entire distance.I live in a town not far from it,and visited it a few times over the years,and it never ceases to amaze me how it works.if you can ever visit there,please do,you'll be astonished.

  • i've been there in 1986 during the coca cola youth music festival 150 centennial... it looks and sounds the same 24 years ago....Wish could be there with my family to let them experience themselves...
