  • I wish my chemistry class was as fun and interesting... We just do lectures, lectures, lectures... No labs or demonstrations whatsoever! :(

  • My dad worked at a phosphorus refinery (abstracted from raw ore elemental phosphorus). Pretty cool but deadly stuff had to be put in water. Burns immediately in the atmosphere or anywhere it comes in contact with oxygen.  Too bad that refinery and the associated mines were closed and now operate in China. :(
